Route #3 Detour - Saturday, April 26
7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Stevens Ave between Higgins St and Pleasant Ave.

Outbound Route 3 buses will travel Stevens Ave until Woodford St. They will turn right onto Woodford, left onto Lawn, left onto Pleasant Ave, and right on Stevens to resume route.

Inbound Route 3 buses will travel Stevens Ave until Walton Str. they will turnleft onto Walton St., right onto Forest Aven, right onto Woodford St. and left onto Stevens to resume roue.

METRO's Route #5 will no longer stop in front of Dick's Sporting Goods in Mall Plaza. This had been an unmarked stop.
Riders should use the sheltered stop in front of Hunt's Photo

METRO Schedules and Route Cards (Routes #1, #3, #4 & #5) have been updated and are effective January 12, 2014.

Effective Immediately
METRO Route #4
Outbound Westbrook service will travel on
Mechanic to Prospect St. (instead of Saco Street) and stop at Westbrook Point Apartments before going to IDEXX. No service inbound to Westbrook Pointe Apartments.

Effective, beginning Monday, November 25
Regional Transportation Program (RTP) will provide bus service to the towns of Naples, Casco, Raymond, Windham, Westbrook and Portland.  For the remainder of 2013 all bus rides are free. The Portland bus stop will be at the METRO Pulse at Elm Street. Visit rtprides.org for schedule and information.

Effective, Beginning Monday, November 25
Congress Street Priority Corridor Update:
The bus stop at Congress and Elm Streets will be discontinued. The new stop will be located in front of the Portland Public Library. Additional bus stops along Congress Street will also be updated as part of this project. Look for notices on bus stop signs. Passengers on inbound Routes #6 & #7 should disembark at the METRO Pulse (not at Congress Street stop).

ROUTE #4 -- Due to construction, effective Thursday, November 21, outbound Route #4 service will travel on Mechanic Street to Prospect Street and Westbrook Pointe Apartments before going to IDEXX. The route at Westbrook Pointe Apartments will turn left on Brackett Street to the parking lot and return to the regular route. The inbound route will travel Saco Street, right on the bypass road and back to Maine Street.

Construction Reminder: Please be aware, that due to construction throughout the service area, some bus stops may not be accessible. Bus operatators can not drop off or pick up passengers within a construction zone.
